The City of Florence organized a groundbreaking ceremony held on August 25 at Greenwood Street and 10th Street to celebrate: (a) The City’s Northwest 9th Street Infrastructure Project, which is installing utilities and roads in the area; and (b) The Elm Park PUD, which includes Elm Park Early Learning Center as well as Elm Park Apartments, a 32-unit affordable housing development.
Sandy Craft, President, and Connie Ford, Director, represented Siuslaw Childcare Friends at the groundbreaking.
